AEROSMITH Frontman Co-Designs HipTunes Wallet/Case Belt

April 27, 2005

AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler and Alice Cooper are among the celebrity artists that have co-designed HipTunes wallet/case belts benefiting various charities. The HipTunes case is the only mp3 accessory of it kind on the market for the Apple and HP iPods, with fashion designer Shanna Israel of Genre Collection. You can fashionably hold your MP3 player along with a wallet that holds all of your necessities hands free!

Each creation for this project is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art that will be auctioned off on eBay starting Friday, April 29, and will run through May 28. On Thursday, April 28, Genre Collection will be unveiling these celebrity designed HipTunes belts at an exclusive event at The Spider Club in Los Angeles. MAC Cosmetics will be creating artistic designs on the bodies of the models wearing the belts. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to VH1 Save the Music, The Lancelot H. Owens Scholarship Foundation, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Hollygrove Children and Family Services, Sabrina Love Foundation and the Wes Wehmiller Scholarship.

Steven Tyler's HipTunes piece includes:

* One-of-a-kind handmade AEROSMITH Japanese scarf
* Two harmonicas owned by Steven Tyler
* A skull ring worn by Steven Tyler
* One-of-a-kind clay AEROSMITH belt owned by Steven Tyler
* Two animal printed scarves owned by Steven Tyler
* A video play-back message from Steven for the winner!
